Front Counter:
You are the first encounter for our customers as they come in. Our customers will be greeted with a smiling face and a friendly voice. This position requires excellent skills in multi-tasking and great customer service skills.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- handing out shoes
- assigning lanes
- register transactions
- answering the phone
- running the lottery machine
- running the ticket redemption counter
- assisting customers with lane set up
- calling lanes errors back to the pin chasers
- sales of pro shop items (not including balls)
- keeping the work area stocked and clean
- league set up and transactions
- kindly and properly addressing customer service complaints from all areas
Pin Chaser/Lane Technician:
You will work, primarily, in the back of the facility, where the machines are located. Although your contact with customers is usually limited, you are still providing a customer service, so good customer service skills are still a must. Your timely response to service calls are pertinent, especially during leagues, tournaments, and hourly bowling. This position is best suited for someone with experience with tools and machine repair/maintenance, but we will train.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- resetting pins and ball returns
- cleaning approaches and oiling lanes for leagues/tournaments
- repairing damaged and broken parts on the machines
- documenting lane calls and action taken to fix the problems
- keeping the work area clean and organized
- securing the building at closing
- staying with the front desk staff, as a security measure, until they are finished with their closing responsibilities
- any other tasks necessary for the day to day needs of the bowling center
Snack Bar
You will be working in a very busy kitchen. You must be able to work well under pressure and communicate kindly and effectively with your co-workers and customers. This position requires excellent skills in multi-tasking and great customer service skills.
Cook:
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- taking and preparing orders
- preparing foods on a grill, in a fryer, and in a pizza oven
- prepping foods and condiments
- washing dishes
- keep prep areas and equipment clean
- stocking and cleaning kitchen at the end of the shift
Cashier:
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- taking orders and processing payments
- serving drinks and handing out completed orders
- assisting the cook with preparing orders
- stocking the front area of the snack bar
- cleaning tables and counters
- collecting up food trays/dishes from the lanes to wash
- assist cook with dishes and cleanup
- counting down the drawer at the end of the night
